Hold on with this potential correction in the markets...
Hold on with this potential correction in the markets because earlier this week I was writing my blog and something happened with the markets later in the day and I didn't post the following blog because I wanted to wait until the end of the week and play it out and see what happened. You may ask or know what happened since Wednesday morning at 11:30am which may turn out to be what most would call a continuation of a potentially correction for all major stock market indices i

It was a down week on Wall Street with the DJIA, S&P 500 and NASDAQ Composite all slightly lower for the week. All three indices were however gaining traction towards the end of the week and near the record highs that we saw last week. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out and if this amazing 'BULL Run' will continue or if the markets will recede before the new year. As we move into the later part of November and into the holiday season and more specifically

As important as this was the S&P 500 crossed the 4,600.00 threshold for the first time to close out the month of October of 2021 at 4,6

All major market indices were slightly higher this week after a very turbulent beginning to the week. All major indices have rebounded nicely...
All major indices have rebounded nicely to end the week and begin the month and quarter with the DJIA up 1.43%, S&P 500 up 1.15% and the NASDAQ Composite up 0.82%. It will be interesting to see if the V-Shaped recovery we saw today will turn this market around as we navigate October and move through the final quarter of the year.

All major stock market indices have rebounded nicely this week after a very rocky start on Monday which saw over 1.00% losses on all stock major indices. On the week the DJIA is up almost 1.00% and the S&P 500 is up 1.20% with the NASDAQ Composite up nearly 2.00%.

All major indices have rebounded since the early week sell-off and have potentially corrected what was shaping up to be a correction in the markets and now is seemingly adding momemtum to what was and still is a 'BULL Market'. It will be interesting to see what will transpire over the coming days as we put a close to what has been an at times volatile month. Will we end the month strong or flop into the last quarter of the year.

All major indices are trending downward thus far this week with an increase in the Volatility Index (VIX) and a major market sell-off on Monday. Aforementioned Volatility Index (VIX) peaked at 28.20 on Monday afternoon however has been descending as of noon on Tuesday. Is this week the continuation of a major sell-off and correction in the markets or will Wall Street steady the ship and rebound with an at any moment V-Shaped recovery as we move through this week and into th

It was another down week on Wall Street with all major indices lower as any gains from earlier in the week were offset by todays volatility as the Volitality Index (VIX) peaked to 20.54 at 3:40pm. It will be interesting to see if the September sell-off continues or if the markets will rebound in the last nine trading sessions of the month as we move into Fall and the last quarter of 2021.

All major stock indices are lower this week with the DJIA down over 2.0%, S&P 500 down over 1.0% and the NASDAQ Composite down over 1.0% for the week. Across the Pacific in Japan the NIKKEI 225 was up nearly 3.0% to a record close of 30,381.84. It remains to be seen if we are seeing yet another buying opportunity this week that I suggested for the coming months in my August 20th post or in contrast a sell-off and correction in the markets. Only time will tell if this is th

Markets have been to the downside for the first part of this holiday shortened trading week. It will be interesting to see if the markets will continue on the decline as we move through the week. I see the markets rebounding with a potential buying opportunity the remainder of this week.

It has been a mixed week on Wall Street with the DJIA enduring minor losses and both the S&P 500 and NASDAQ Composite at or near record highs. With that said the NASDAQ Composite has been gaining momentum and is up over one percent for the week while the S&P 500 has been at or near all-time highs all week. Across the Pacific in Japan the Nikkei 225 has been gaining momentum this week and is up approximately 4.52% for the week and over 7.8% since August 20th.

Markets are up across the board again as we close out another week on Wall Street. All major indices are up for the week including but not limited to the DJIA, S&P 500 and NASDAQ Composite. It has been modest week with regard to the Volatility Index (VIX) as the Volatility Index (VIX) did spike on Thursday with the unfortunate current events occurances that transpired. As we move into September it remains unclear as to what may or may not transpire however in the opinion I

Markets are up across the board with the S&P 500 and NASDAQ Composite leading the way as they are both at or near a record close with new intraday all time highs and potentially record closes for both indices. Both are approaching important milestones as the S&P 500 once again approachs going above 4,500.00 for the first time and the NASDAQ Composite once again approachs going above 15,000.00 for the first time.

It's been a turbulent week on Wall Street as we saw the Volatility Index (VIX) peak on Wednesday into Thursday and all major market indices selling off a bit. It has however become less volatile as of 2:15 pm EST on Friday and we are seeing all major market indices slightly rebounding as we close out this very turbulent week.

Today we saw another record close for both the DJIA and S&P 500. It has been an amazing 'BULL RUN' this year for all three major indices however of late the NASDAQ Composite has been attempting to find momentum but has not been able to gain momentum. The NASDAQ Composite is however at or near a record of late as well but it is the DJIA and S&P 500 that have seen the most gains year-to-date. It will be interesting to see if we have the buying opportunity in the middle of Au

Today we saw another record close for the DJIA and S&P 500 while the NASDAQ Composite closed at a record high yesterday. It will be interesting to see where the markets will be at as we go into the latter part of the Summer and into the Fall months. We may be seeing buying opportunities in the near term however this may be risky for the faint at heart.

It will be interesting to see how things shape up however I still see Buying opportunities in the coming days and weeks. The markets may become volatile over this time so hold your ground.
